MERO (UK) PLC. Today completed the installation of "The Torch" for main contractor Rowecord Engineering Ltd. and client JC Decaux. The two 15m high factory assembled sections of the tower were transported from Wales to London under police escort, before being lifted into position over the weekend by main contractor Rowecord, which required partial closure of the eastbound A4 carriageway at the Chiswick roundabout in London. MERO have now completed the on-site stitching of the cladding across the joint location and handed over the cladding. "The Torch" is an eyecatching addition to the London skyline that forms the centrepiece of JC Decaux's Premiere range of advertising billboards. | ||||
